Digital-Electronic Tensioning Systems

McClean Anderson’s Digital-Electronic Tensioning Systems provide the optimum method available for precision fiber dispensing. Tensioning Systems are available in a range of configurations customized to meet your needs. Standard tension range is from 1 lbf to 20 lbf [4.5N to 90 N]. Digital-Electronic Tensioning Systems can be incorporated into free standing or slaved creel systems.

  • Optional: Fully air conditioned to control temperature and humidity.
  • Remote operator control through McClean Anderson Accustrand software.

Slaved Creels
 
  • Creel is mounted to powered carriage that runs on a series of guide rails. Creel carriage is slaved to the Filament Winding Machines horizontal carriage axis.

  • Totally enclosed cabinet.

  • Standard configuration: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 and 24 spools.

  • Requires 90 psi air supply. Electrical requirement is fed through the Filament Winding Machine.

  • Optional: Fully air conditioned to control temperature and humidity.

  • Remote operator control through the Flexwind control or through creel control interface via keypad and LCD screen.
  • Programmable control embedded into winding programs via Flexwind and Coordinator software.
