Radius Delivery Ring (d-ring)

The radius of this D-ring is designed for a specified number of fiber tows or bandwidth.  Standard sizes are available depending on the number of comb pins in the resin bath and delivery combs. 

Radius Fiber Delivery Comb

The comb system is placed directly behind a fiber delivery ring (D-ring).  This comb system precisely directs the fiber to the D-ring without causing fiber damage.

Bandwidth control is achieved by repositioning fiber through the comb pins or by changing the comb's position or distance from the D-ring.  

Roller-Type Fiber Delivery Comb

In the event of fiber delivery that requires less or no abrasive redirects, a roller comb would be utilized.

This type of roller is common for carbon fiber markets.

Roller Delivery Tooling

The roller delivery tooling can be used for many applications to help roll material onto the part rather then using a D-ring.   

These rollers can be provided standard or customized to best meet customer requirements.

Fiber Redirection Board

The fiber redirection board is used in place of combs and rollers.  Bandwidth control is achieved by repositioning the fiber tows to the different openings in the board.  

These boards can be provided standard or customized to best meet customer requirements.

• Compensate for mandrel deflection and machine misalignment.

• Drive flange can accommodate tooling such as chucks or be used to drive mandrels directly.

• Can be customized per customer request.
